      Hi radsare1005!

      Not as part of my work, no… but I have been to and stayed for a while in places where contaminated water is a real problem… in some places you don’t have water taps in your house and in those you do, the water that comes out is so dirty that you can’t drink it straight away! There are tons of people working on different ways of helping with these problems, like collecting rain water, using sunlight to kill bacteria in water, etc. There’s a cool bit of research that went into a really simple solution in this website, for example: http://www.sodis.ch/index_EN
