      Hi Cafcdylan!
I like loads of things about science, but I think what I like the most is that I always learn new things, I like being able to figure out how to solve problems or understand why/how things happen the way they do…
      Hope that makes sense!

      Hi everyone,

      Wow, popular question!

I think my favourite thing about science is knowing that the research I’m doing has never been done before. I am literally the first person in the world to discover the things that I find out! There’s something really exciting about learning new things about the world and then being able to tell people about them and share your knowledge with the world.

Of course, blowing things up is always fun too… 😛

Any of you students have a favourite part of science?

      Ian

      Hi cafcdylan,

I really enjoy writing about what I’ve done and also telling people about it – other scientists and members of the public. I also really enjoy building new bits of apparatus to test particular ideas I have, it’s sometimes a bit like being a cross between being a plumber and playing with lego!

      Hi cafdylan, emmasaur, xograciexo,
My favorite thing about science is that I get to research anything I want. If I can find a reason to research it, then I am able to.

There is an answer to everything in the world, we just have to think how can we figure it out, what equipment do we need to use, do I need to create new equipment?
Being able to tell someone you found something that could benefit someones life is amazing. But being able to find something that no one else has found is life changing!!

So the big question of all time……What is the origin and reason for life? might seem a philosophical question that no one can answer, but maybe, just maybe in hundreds of years, evidence and new equipment will allow us to explore these difficult and important questions 😀
