• Question: what is your favorite film?

      Hey 11hobsonp and xoshannonxo,

      Yay a film question! My favourite film is the original Star Wars film. I don’t think it’s the best film in the world but it completely blew me away when I was a kid and made me think “Ohhh this is what a film should be like!”.

      I love the James Bond films too – they’re probably my favourite series of films.

      How about you guys?

      Hi 11hobsonp and xoshannonxo,

      me and my wife often discuss what our favourite top 5 films are.

      Star Wars is definitely on my list- the original. Probably unlike Ian I saw it when it first came out, I was 7. There was nothing like it at the time in terms of special effects – the space ships and stuff looked real. Also I got taken to it as a surprise trip, it was brilliant.

      I’ll plug two other films – Edwards Scissor hands, an early Jonny Depp – Tim Burton film – it’s a sort of Frankenstein story, good stuff and the colours are brilliant.

      Finally there is a Belgium film called Delicatessen set in a sort of post apocalypse future that features an underground gang of vegetarians amongst other things – it’s very surreal.

      I guess there’s a bit of a future / science thread running through those.

      Hi 11hobsonp,
      I have been asked this so many times, and I never give the same movie lol… I love disney films, like beauty and the beast and lion king. But pixar films like UP is the happiest and saddest film (in one) I have ever seen.

      BUT I am bit obsessed with comic books so I love avengers… I love comic books and anything supernatural that Im going to comic con next year.
      Eeeeeeeeek but I did see man of steel yesterday, so i think I’m becoming a DC comic fan now.That film was AMAZING

      Okay….I need to make a decision…..
      Old time favourite : beauty and the beast (classic disney)
      New time favourite: something supernatural so inception or man of steel

      Hi,

      I love loads of films but there’s not many I can watch over and over again.

      I think my favorite has got to be Bladerunner. Its set in LA in a future where robots are almost indistinguishable from humans but are banned from working on earth. Those that are here are hunted down by an ex-policeman (bladerunner). It’s a really cool film with and amazing soundtrack. watch it!!! (when your 15).
