• Question: is your work life saving ?

      Hi Katie,

      Thanks for the question. My work could definitely help save lives, yes! I’m trying to find out what genes and proteins Entamoeba histolytica has that let it kill people. If I can spot those genes and proteins then other scientists might be able to make medicines that target them and kill E. histolytica.

      So, I won’t be making medicines myself but my work could definitely help towards saving lives. It’s really exciting to know that your research can have an impact like that!
