• Question: In your work you use video games to test human behaviour, would this mean you can basically use anything to test anything?...As long as it's relevant

      Hi Alice,

      No I ask very specific questions about how humans cooperate (or cheat) with each other. I also look at the role punishment plays in helping people to cooperate. When I say I use computer games, these are not normal computer games. I have designed them to replicate particular which let me test a hypothesis I have. For example, I have recently been looking at how cooperation and punishment is affected by having one player stronger at than another.
