      Hi lewiiboii,

I don’t think I can explain it, but i’ll have a go at describing it.

      Force pulling together all matter.

      Hows that?

      Ooh tricky – good question!

My explanation is: ‘Force that pulls towards mass’

      Hi Lewiiboii

Can I explain gravity in 5 words?

      No!

Sorry, gravity is a bit mysterious and scientists are still trying to fully understand it. They are searching for a “gravity particle” that will form part of a so called “Grand unified theory” that will fully explain how the university works.

In broad terms, if something rotates and is heavy (say, for instance the earth!) it will exert a gravitational force and pull things towards it. Other rotating objects will also exert a pull which is why all matter in the universe doesn’t end up colliding with the earth.

      What a good question!

But I’ll go with Jono and describe it rather than explain it…
